SWT would like to thank Mark Hamblin, wildlife photographer, for his continued support. The opinions on Mark's website are his own and are not necessarily endorsed by SWT.
Mark Hamblin has been working as a freelance nature photographer since 1995. His work has taken him to many parts of the world on self-assignments as well as with Wildshots, a photographic tour company.
Mark is a regular contributor to many of Britain's leading wildlife and photography magazines, and his images are represented by a number of international photographic agencies.
Mark's first book, Wild Peak was published in 2003 and was followed in 2005 by Wild Land - Images of nature from the Cairngorms, in collaboration with Peter Cairns. They have now completed their second book, Tooth & Claw - living alongside Britain's predators which is available from the project website. Mark is also working on a new book on Highland landscapes due out in autumn 2008.
Future plans include establishing an environmental education foundation to promote conservation and environmental issues in the United Kingdom through the use of imagery and other media.
