PROGRAMME FOR 2010
April 25th – Spring into spring
A spring walk from Glenbrittle up to Bealach a Mhaim. Meet at Minginish Hall for minibus pick-up.
May 16th – Pond dipping in Peppe’s Pools.
Come pond dipping in the river below Drynoch Lodge.
June 27th – Bugs and Grubs.
A look at beasties that skitter, slither, crawl or flutter. Meet at Minginish Hall for minibus pick-up.
July 25th – Day trip to Neist Point.
A walk and picnic at Neist Point. We hope to see some exciting sea life.
Meet at Minginish Hall for minibus pick-up 10am to 3.30pm.
August 29th – Countryside Casualties.
Paint on and act out some ghastly outdoor injuries and learn about first Aid. Minginish Hall.
September 12th – Dinosaur Footprints.
A trip to Staffin to see the dinosaur foot prints and other geological features. Meet at Minginish Hall for minibus pick-up 2pm to 5pm.
October 24th – Outdoor survival.
Build a shelter and learn a few outdoor skills. Drynoch Lodge. TBC
November 28th – Owl Pellets.
Learn about owls and dissect an owl pellet. TBC. Minginish Hall.
January 30th 2011 – The Big Garden Bird Watch.
Join in the RSPB’s Big Garden Bird Watch. Details TBC.
All meetings are on Sundays from 2-4pm unless stated otherwise.
For children 8-14 or younger if with an adult. £2 per child.
