The Scottish Wildlife Trust is one of three charities benefitting from 20% of revenue raised by Scotland's own charity, the People's Postcode Lottery. The weekly drawn People’s Postcode Lottery operates exclusively for Scotland, and its sister lotteries in The Netherlands and Sweden have already donated over EUR 3 billion of support for 53 European charitable organisations.

SWT's Charity Ambassador for the People's Postcode Lottery, John MichieWith guaranteed cash prizes of up to £25,000, tickets for the People’s Postcode Lottery are based on the players’ postcode to which a 3-digit code is added to give an individual ticket number – so when a player wins, they win with their neighbours! The People’s Postcode Lottery works on a monthly subscription basis where players pay £2 a ticket to enter the weekly draw.

Uniquely the People’s Postcode Lottery works in such a way that the more people who play within a particular postcode the higher the chances of that postcode winning. Every week each winning street can win a share of prizes including cars, luxury holidays, TVs and cash prizes. Simon Milne, SWT's CEO receives a cheque for £16,376 from the first draw of the People's Postcode Lottery
